Not much is happening in Utah’s automotive and motorsport world in December, with a few exceptions further south.

Since 2021, the final day of the four-day SEMA Show has been open to the public. That means Utahns don’t need an industry or media badge to experience one of the biggest automotive events on the planet. If you didn’t make the drive down I-15 this year…here’s what you missed, and what you might look forward to next year.

While motorsport events and car shows are fewer by November, there are still great things to see or get involved with in Utah and the surrounding area, especially further south. Speaking of south, Las Vegas host great events in November including: NHRA drag racing; Formula 1; the SEMA/AAPEX Show, which includes Utah companies and participants; and Open Wheel Showdown oval track racing, where several Utah teams participate.

Utah-based Cache Inc. and it’s industry-leading Basecamp 3.0 tailgate pad are making their second appearance at the SEMA Show.
