The Battle of the Borders desert grand prix has become well known among Utah and Nevada motorcycle desert racers because of the unique challenges manufactured by the host organization: the Southern Nevada Jackrabbits Motorcycle Club of Las Vegas. Those challenges included a hard enduro section, the “escargot” spiral, a series of jumps, a natural rockpile, and some unnatural logs and huge tires laid across the course. On top of the grueling natural and manmade obstacles, severe winds added another level of pain to the 2024 version.<\/p>\n\n\n
